Edwin A. " Ed" "Eddie" "Coach" Morgan of Edgewater Park, NJ, died Friday, July 28, 2017, at home. He was 58. Beloved son of the late : Edwin P. and Zelpha Mae Morgan .Brother of the late : Barbara Jean Burdett ,Michelle Annette Morgan , Carol Burdett and Arnold Lee. Uncle of the late : Stephen Hurst.

He was born on November 17, 1958 in Bellville, Illinois and was a lifelong resident  of South Jersey. Eddie graduated from Corpus Christi Parochial School in 1973, Holy Cross High School in 1977 and Glassboro State College in 1981. Upon graduating Eddie began pursuing his passion of teaching, coaching,mentoring and investing in the lives of others at Palmyra High School in Beverly,NJ. He would spend the next 20 years improving the lives of all those who came in contact with him.

Upon retirement, he continued in his service to others by being active in the ALS Association, where he established a scholarship that bares his name; the Red Cross ; Hampton Hospital; and The Church of the Sacred Heart where he served as a Lector. He continued his love of sport, coaching and giving freely of his time at softball camps in the south jersey area.

Eddie loved his family, friends, players and students with a passion all to obvious to those who had the good fortune to witness it firsthand. It's been quoted by countless former students and players that Eddie demanded they " bring the hammer' in all areas of life. He could demand it from them because he first demanded it of himself.

He is survived by : Three Sisters : Judy Dunn, Linda Sue Burdett, Kathy George, Brother : Joe Morgan, nephews : Brian, Danny, David,Taylor and JP, Nieces : Tanya, Karley, Eleni, Malloree, Madeline, Maura Cate, Michelle and Nancy, other relatives and friends.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 5, 2017, 10am at The Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 S. Broad Street, Trenton, NJ. Relatives and friends may call Friday Evening 7pm – 9pm at the Goes – Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy, Willingboro ,NJ. Please meet directly at church Saturday . Entombment : Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum, Cinnaminson,NJ. In lieu of flowers : memorial donations are requested to either : the Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 S.Broad Street, Trenton,NJ,08609 or to Hope Loves Company, PO Box 931, Pennington,NJ,08534 in his memory.
