Obituary of Jon Scott Glenn
Jon Scott Glenn, 60 , passed away due to natural causes the morning of August 13,2017 in his long-time Willingboro home. Born in Bellefonte, Pa. on January 19,1957. Jon graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro in 1975 where he was an avid athlete in many sports, earning a varsity letter in baseball. Right after graduation, he worked for his father at Purex Corp. in Bristol ,Pa before enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1976 and served until 1980 as a member of the 78th Maneuver Command Fort Dix and earned the rank of SP4. He was most recently employed as a driver's assistant in Burlington County. He was a hard -working and generous man who will be remembered most for his never-ending smile and infectious laugh.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard R. Glenn, Jr. and C. Louise Glenn (nee: Benn). Jon is survived by three Brothers : Gary and Cristina Glenn of Ayden, NC, Robert Glenn and Maureen Huffman of West Chester, Pa., Tracy Glenn of Willingboro ,NJ, and only Sister : Nancy Glenn Ball and Ted Ball of Carlisle, Pa., his only niece : Brianna Carter and Chris Carter of Shrewsbury, Pa., nephews: Andrew Glenn of Trenton, NJ, Max Glenn of Charleston, SC., and Jordan Glenn of Carlisle, PA., great-nieces Ava and Cameron Carter of Shrewsbury, Pa.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday , August 31,2017, 12 noon to 1pm at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pwky , Willingboro, NJ.
