Irene H. Fattorini of Willingboro, NJ, died peacefully , Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly, NJ, surrounded by her loving family . She was 88. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to the late Andrew and Mary Hillan. She enjoyed 68 happy years of marriage with her husband , Joseph A. Fattorini.

Irene devoted her entire adult life to helping others . She was a decades long member of the 3rd Order of Saint Frances and the Altar & Rosary Society at Corpus Christi . For over 45 years, Irene ran and predominantly served as the Director of the Burlington County Birthright ( now known as First Way of Burlington County). In this role she was a champion of the unborn. Despite being a humble servant of God, in 1987 Irene was awarded the Burlington County Humanitarian of the Year Award. Along with her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary Dorak and her son Joseph Fattorini.

While raising a family in Levittown , Pennsylvania, she met a lifetime group of friends affectionately now known as " The Club." In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by 3 of her children : Jorene Crowley, Marlene Fattorini, and James Fattorini (Ginny), along with 12 grandchildren: Damian Giles (Melissa), Benjamin Giles (Alexcy), Alaina Giles, Danielle Garcia, Andrew Fattorini ,Kristian Fattorini, Sarah Garcia, Jodiana Fattorini, Tony (Maria) Fattorini, Jimi Fattorini (Ashley), Christiana Fattorini, Nicholas Fattorini and 6 Great Grandchildren: Miranda, Ariana, Anabelle, Austin, Julia, Anayani. She also leaves behind many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 25, 2017, 9:30am at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 11 South Sunset Road, Willingboro ,NJ. Relatives and friends may call Monday Evening, July 24,2017, 6pm – 8pm, and Tuesday Morning 8am -9am, at the Goes – Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy, Willingboro, NJ. Interment : Brig.Gen.Wm.C.Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown,NJ.
