Uncle Ray
You were a wonderful family man. You gave all of yourself to your family. You took great care of your father and my Pop. You were a good little brother to your big brothers and sisters but most of you were the best uncle to all your nieces and nephews that we could ever have. You did everything for your family and friends without wanting anything in return.
Some of my memories of you were when you came to visit at Mo's house with Pop and you were driving your corvette with the top down and the windows up. Also letting everyone test drive your corvette around the block.
I can't forget this cause you never let me forget it even though I don't remember doing it myself but you were older by 10 years lol. You said that I hit you in the back of your head with aunt Joan's Dippy Do gel for her hair when she was watching me lol. Knocked you out for awhile and you woke p with the gel all in those curly locks of yours. Well I'm truly sorry for hurting you if I did but it was one of many stories you would tell me. I remember that you drove from NJ to DE the day after Christmas in 86 so you and Pop could see your 1st great niece and being Chaz's godfather with Barbara and I'm sure many other nieces and nephews too.
Taking Christa to NY and Canada when she visited you and you telling her se was killing your knees by making you walk so much. Chaz told me that you let him and his buddies spend the night on their way to NY. Taking then to Pat's for the good old cheesesteaks as you did with everyone and in the morning having L & M creamies for them. He loved getting woke up with Dollar drooling all over his face with cold ass water thinking it was better than the frozen washcloth. I now tell Sophie that when I'm getting her up for school. You don't want me to get the frozen cloth do you.
All our 2 to 4 hours conversation on Saturday on my way home from night shift sitting out front until Chalie came out and ask what I was doing and I said talking to Uncle Ray and he would just leave and go in since he knew I would be awhile lol.
Chalie really appreciated your phone calls everyday when I was in the hospital. He said you told him she a Burtcel she stubborn she will be fine lol. It meant the world to him and my phone call when I got home to get yelled at my you for not taking care of myself.
So Uncle Ray thank you for all our conversation laughs and just caring about all of us. You will truly be missed and always in our hearts. Tell mom and dad I love and miss them too. I'm sure you will be looking over all of us still. Rest in Peace until we meet again Uncle Ray (Creep).
Love you Terri (Creep)

Uncle Ray,
We could always count of you for anything. I remember many long nights spent at my parent’s kitchen table trying to get school projects done with your help. You were basically Google for any question I had! And let’s not forget, you never came emptied handed- whether it was WaWa coffee, anything Entenmann's, or McDonalds. Thank you for teaching me how to drive in your truck. We know my dad couldn’t last long. We of course had to stop at your favorite, Mart Pretzels, for Boost and pretzels. You will be greatly missed and I will forever appreciate the time you spent with us. You’d be happy to know that Dollar, Rusty, and Theo are besties!
Love you Uncle Ray!

Uncle Ray,
Let me first start off by saying thank you for all of the wonderful memories that we had made while I was growing up, coming to your house with my sisters and playing with the house phone that you had to twist the numbers with. I’ll never forget the time I got a ticket and had to go to court. You had me write out the traffic laws on flashcards to study just so I can plea not guilty. Then Dollar had came along and I still remember the day that you had got him. You put your heart and soul into Dollar. Thank you again for everything that you have done for me and my family, you will missed every single day and I can promise you Dollar will be loved. “WATCH HIM DOLLAR WATCH HIM” i love you Uncle Ray forever and always <3

Yo Ray, was a salutation you often got from me.
Thank you for all the help you gave me over the years that I lived in New Jersey. And for all the trips to Oklahoma to visit us. Thank you for the use of your home on many occasions when we visited NJ with the family or by myself. And for transportation to the airport. Thank you for helping me put up my Christmas lights on a couple occasions when you were here for Thanksgiving. Took about 15 minutes, LOL!
Thank you for caring for your dad all those years! I know what a sacrifice that was.
Thanks Ray for being such a great uncle for my children and a great brother-in-law to me! I will miss you! I can't stop thinking about you!
Rest in peace Uncle Raymee !!!! Amen.

Q: What will you miss most about Raymond?
A: Uncle Ray,
I can remember all the times we visited New Jersey and stayed up until 3:00 in the morning sitting at the kitchen table talking. I just loved listening to all the crazy stories and laughing so hard at each one of them. Even when you called my Mom in Oklahoma you would make her laugh for hours on the phone. You always had a generous heart and even sent your saxophone out to Oklahoma so that I could play in the band. You were also the cool Uncle who let me drive your corvette around the block even though I was sacred I thought I would break it. One thing is for sure that you loved your family and I hope you know how much we loved you and will miss you.
Julie

Uncle Ray,
It’s always hard to find the right words to say but you were an amazing uncle even from one thousand miles away. You were a Strong family man. From taking care of our pop to calling to check in on us and the occasional popping in visits to Oklahoma. You were always so kind to open up your home when we would visit. It’s a lot to have 7+ people invade your space but you always made sure no one was ever hungry. Danny still tells people about you taking him on an adventure to Pat’s at 2 in the morning. I loved listening in on the conversations you and mom would have, late night phone calls for hours and the two of you laughing. I know she was there to greet you and excited to see a new face. You are missed. Love Jennifer.

Uncle Ray I could always count on you whenever I asked you for something. You may not have came right away but eventually you made your 5 minute drive to me hours later! Your heart was always full to help anyone without questions asked. You dedicated your younger years taking care of Pop which we all are very grateful for. You will be enormously missed. You’re one of the only people I know that can shoot the breeze for hours. Uncle Ray have the time of your life up there with all our family and friends! You deserve it, love you!

Uncle Ray,
Thank you for always making me feel special. I loved how you played with us when we were little kids from riding bikes to rubbing snow in our faces. I loved being told by Pop to go wake you up by tickling your feet or with a cold wet wash rag, that never got old. We had so much fun during your visits to Oklahoma, when we played Rummy for days on end. You may not have ever been a dad, but you were an awesome uncle. You had such a great way with your nieces and nephews. You always made time for us, made us feel important and loved. I will miss you, your infectious laugh, and your warm smile…always.
But most of all, thank you for being a care-giver to my Pop-Pop for all those years. Your dedication to your father was a true blessing.
Love,
Joanie

Ray was my best friend growing up. We used to raise model cars in his back porch. When he was called into the house, we would put his car in the freezer. It slowed the car down enough to lose the next race.
I will miss him.
