I used to love laying near my pool in the summer and listen to Bob play the trumpet. He lived three houses down from me, but I could hear each song clearly as he played on the porch in his backyard. It was very relaxing to listen to. I used to turn off my radio so I could listen just to him. I don’t think he really knew how much I was enjoying it or that anyone else was even listening. Bob was a wonderful, kind man who will be missed in our neighborhood.

Bob was one of my best friends. We both lived in Hawthorne Park in Willingboro NJ. We spent many days at each others house. We played many sports together and was a "Best Man" at my first wedding. Later we lived two streets away from each other in Beverly NJ. I had been searching fro Bob on the internet for many years. Bob and his brother Tom and I played on several softball teams and enjoyed going to AC Casinos together. I'm very sorry that we grew apart. Bob and His father came to my Dads viewing and was very comforting for me because I was a mess. Bob will be in my prayers and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.

Sue, David, and Jen,
He was Bobby to us at work and to me as his colleague and friend. What a big heart he shared with our diverse and caring staff at Garden State. Bobby always lifted my spirits and all those rough and tumble, frightened, brilliant and or needy students. I like to think of his passing as one of those stars that will shine down upon us forever.
My deepest sympathy to you as well as that of my husband, Duayne Whitehurst who never met Bobby in person but knew his heart from holiday greetings.

Sue and family -
What a pleasure to know Bob as you made the move to First Pres in Moorestown. I didn't know him for long, surely not long enough, but the love and strength of your marriage was evident to all.
May God bless and comfort you in the months ahead, especially as his birthday approaches.

As competitive a person as you will find, Bob tore a brand new pair of pants he got from Sue one Christmas. It didn't go over too well that day. He was a terrific pure shooter.

Bob was an amazing friend! He always had a kind word to share! Bob assisted me many times when I was stressed out about work or in the planning of another conference that we were running!
His faith was unshakeable and he inspired myself and everyone around him, to become a better person! We traveled to many Correctional Education Association Conferences together and we became known as "The Jersey Boys"!
Bob always had a funny story to share! He was a positive model for all of his students to emulate!
