Obituary of Eric Bohlert

Mr. Eric John Bohlert, age 54, of Pennsauken, NJ passed away at Thomas Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday October 15, 2023. He lost his battle with Lung cancer.

Eric was born in Queens, NY on May 11, 1969 to John and Elizabeth Bohlert. .Eric's family moved from Queens, NY to Willingboro,NJ. Eric graduated from Willingboro H.S. in 1987. As a child Eric's love for trains and buses turned into a lifelong passion. He continually applied at the MTA and after accepting a job at Septa where he worked for over 25 years. The MTA offered him a position. Eric recently retired.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth E. Bohlert and his longtime girlfriend Hanna Kim. Eric is survived by his father John G. Bohlert, his sister Samantha J. Bohlert, a nephew Marcus M. Bohlert and a niece Chelsea M. Charles. A host of other friends and family.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, 10am, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt.130 South, Burlington, NJ. Relatives and friends please meet directly at the cemetery.
