Know that I have missed you, missed going to mass with you and all our jaunts and travels, the events for Peter and Jude and their families that you shared with me. From our rocky beginning emerged a friendship I had not expected, but which often sustained me. You unknowingly taught me things and certain wisdoms that I could not learn from my own mother, who had passed from me so young. Thank you for having loved me.
