Beverly A. Leinweber (née Peterson) of Willingboro died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at home while under the care of a loving in-home caregiver. She was 86 years old.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Kenneth L. Leinweber, who passed away in 2016. She is survived by her daughter Judy Leinweber, son and daughter-in-law Greg and Christine Leinweber, two grandsons Daniel and Stephen Leinweber, and other relatives and friends. She was the second of four children and was the last surviving sibling from her family.

Beverly grew up on an apple farm in Colville, Washington, about 70 miles north of Spokane. She was the third generation of schoolteachers from her family, having taught typing, shorthand, and secretarial office practices from the 1970s to the early 1990s at John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, New Jersey. After teaching, she created Training & Communications Services, her own desktop publishing company.

She met her husband Ken while in the registration line at Washington State College (now University) and married in 1959. They were very much in love and had great adventures together. They took many trips to far locales, the first one being Kenya in the 1980s. They also went to Antarctica, Alaska, Hawaii, and they took a cruise on an original riverboat down the Mississippi River. Ken took many beautiful photos from the trips.

Beverly was a voracious reader, collected hundreds of movies, and was a very stylish dresser. She was active in the Willingboro Presbyterian Church, serving as elder, Sunday school teacher, and played in the handbell choir. She was also a Girl Scout Troop leader.

A memorial service will be held at Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy (aka Veterans Pkwy), Willingboro, NJ on Saturday, August 26 at 10:00 am.
