Obituary of Clyde R. Anderson

Clyde Raymond Anderson, 72, a long-time resident of Willingboro, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2023.

Raymond was born in Toomsuba, Mississippi to Claude and Christine Anderson on January 13, 1951. He graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 1969. Raymond attended Kansas State University and spent more than 35 years with IMS America LTD before retiring. 

Raymond was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan, who loved spending his vacations on the family farm in Toomsuba, Mississippi hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino, bowling, playing Pinochle, or listening to his Southern Blues.

Raymond was a man of few words yet full of humor; EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND.

Raymond is survived by his loving partner of 37 years, Janet Maxwell, daughters, Deonne Anderson, and Shamelle Smith; step-daughters, Jalisa Bristol (Alan), Jenell Johnson, and Janaya Maxwell, and one step-son Jermaine Maxwell (Ciana); sister Evelyn Anderson, and sister-in-law Deborah Anderson. Raymond is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Christine (nee Lofton) Anderson; brother Claude E. Anderson.

Relatives  and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Monday, May 22, 2023, 10am - 11am followed by his funeral service, 11am - 12 noon at the Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Veterans Parkway, Willingboro,NJ. (609)871-1000.  

The interment will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Toomsuba, Mississippi. Date to be determined.
