Obituary of Mary A. Gayliard
Mary A. Gayliard
Mary A. Gayliard was born in Naumburg, New York to Minnie and Elmer Taube on January 12, 1930. She went to high school in Lowville, New York, and graduated at the age 16 years old. She went on to earn a business degree/certificate in Syracuse, New York. She worked as a part time bookkeeper for multiple busineeses at a time, her favorites being Holiday House Furniture Store, a pediatrician's office, and a machinist company (Risco).
Mary was known to be very involved and active in all of her hobbies, enjoying them with specific family members/friends, and also enjoying making new friends anywhere she went. She loved enjoying conversation with anyone, even if that meant over the phone!
Being able to see the sunset, preferably from outside, but even from inside if the weather was not up to her standards, was Mary's greatest joy in life. However, her other favorite hobbies were painting, playing scrabble, camping, taking long walks, and crafts.
Mary is survived by her five children and their spouses, Bruce Gayliard (Deb), Shari Moore, David Gayliard (Lori), Kim Veguilla (Ed), and Michele Moran (Jim); her loving grandchildren, Justin Gayliard, Nicholas Gayliard, Gillian Gayliard, Michael Moore Jr, Julie Moore, Zackary Gayliard, Brianna Moran, and Brady Moran; siblings Ralph Taube, Ruthie Mellnitz, and Harold Taube; and many adoring great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
