Rene C. Yohannan of Willingboro, NJ, born July 11, 1938, passed away on May 1, 2022. Predeceased by his loving wife Marie, Rene is survived by his children, Jeffrey Werrmann (Kathleen), James Werrmann (Mariclair), Gene (Dawn), Joseph, Sarah Douville (Thomas), and Joshua (Renee), and grandchildren Liam, Pierce, Brenna, Emily, Gene, Rhiannon, Gabriel, Aaron, Calvin, Evelyn, and Jacob.

Rene was very engaged with his family, enjoying visits with his children and grandchildren, and sending many creative and thoughtful letters and gifts. He will be dearly missed by his special friend Mary Gayliard and remembered by her family.

Rene was born to Samuel and Nellie Yohannan in Plainfield, NJ. He graduated from Plainfield High School in 1956, attending Rutgers University where he majored in physics. Rene would later achieve his Master's in applied physics at Steven's Institute of Technology.

Rene began his lifelong career in military defense in the Army, stationed in White Sands, NM in the early 1960's. Rene then worked as a systems engineer for about forty years at Lockheed, RCA, GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta, and Lockheed Martin. In retirement, Rene pursued his passion for art, mostly drawing and painting, and enjoying many years in the Willingboro Art Alliance. Rene was a lifelong scholar, with many other interests including photography, science, literature, philosophy, history, and nature.

Funeral Services and Interment will be private and at the convenience of his family.
