Vincent J. Severino
On December 21, 2021 Vincent J. Severino, 88 years old of Blackwood, NJ, peacefully passed into eternal sleep holding the hand of his beloved wife of 38 years… his "Doll", Esther ( nee: Iula) Severino.
Vincent was the son of the late Anthony Severino, Sr. and Anna (née Tomasco). In addition to his adoring wife, he is survived by his brother Anthony Severino, Sister-in-Law, Mary, daughter Terry, son Vincent, Jr. and Stepson John Borreggine. Vince also leaves behind several loving and loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces.
After graduating from Temple University in 1955 Vince spent the majority of his work life as a Pharmacist. He truly loved his trade. With his last employer, Rite Aid Corp., Vince transitioned into Real Estate Acquisitions. In this role he helped independent pharmacy owners reap the reward of their years of hard work and received several awards and accolades for his performance. As a businessman, Vince had an intense work ethic and the ability to negotiate meaningful deals with anyone, thanks to his well known charisma. In his free time Essie's " Silver Fox " was an avid fisherman and hunter through most of his life.
To those who knew him, Vince will be remembered for his quick wit, generosity, intense love of family and fun stories. Most importantly he will be deeply missed and thought of often by everyone he touched.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 11am at the Our Lady of Hope Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ. (856) 228-4331. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday morning , 10am – 11am at the church. Entombment : Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 2398 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ. (856) 663-3345.
