Obituary of Wayne G. Bradley

On May 22, 2019, Wayne Gustav Bradley passed away in Willingboro, N.J. He was a kind-hearted, soft-spoken gentle soul who treated all people he encountered with compassion and who cared deeply for the members of his family.

Born June 29, 1965, in Japan, Wayne Bradley grew up in Willingboro and graduated from high school there. Many members of Wayne's extended family have roots in Richmond, Virginia. In Richmond, he attended Virginia Union University earning a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1988. On campus, Wayne was a member of the VUU chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. Returning to New Jersey, Wayne pursued a career in business management.

He was preceded in death by his father, retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Gus Bradley, and his mother, Martha Annette Hocker Bradley. On his mother's side of the family, Wayne Bradley is survived aunt Marlene Brewer, uncles Andrew J. Hocker, Jr., and William C. Hocker, and first cousins Jacquelyn Garrett, Kimberley Amrullah, William Ferguson, Alan Ferguson, Mark Ferguson, Thomas Hocker and Zachary Hocker. On his father's side of the family, Wayne's first-cousin survivors include Maria Bradley, Lorene Vurnell, Sandra Bradley, Sharon Bradley, Carolyn Bradley and Elaine Hansom.

Wayne was remarkable for his devotion to his mother during her final years and for his calm, cheerful, positive attitude while dealing with the health challenges he faced later in life.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019, 10am at the Goes - Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro,NJ. Relatives and friends may call Friday morning 9am - 10am at the funeral home. Interment : Princeton Memorial Park,403 Gordon Road, Robbinsville, NJ.
