My deepest sorrow and condolences, Was very shocked to hear of this as I knew Carl very well..It was always very nice to know that he was out there somewhere. Heaven has certainly gained an angel as he is the sweetest soul I have ever known or ever will. May he rest in peace forever.

Carl was a wonderful neighbor always with a smile on his face that would make you feel special as he greeted you. Many mornings we would leave for work at the same time and I felt secure knowing he was right behind in the snow and ice as we walked to the parking lot. Carl will be missed by many and I am blessed to have known him. My deepest sympathies to his family Rest in Peace

I was truly heartbroken to see this tonight. Carl and I started at Kennedy in the ICU at the same time, even did the critical care course together. He had the most beautiful long hair back then and definitely stood out in a crowd. He worked in the ICU on and off before settling on dialysis which still brought him back into the unit to perform dialysis for our patients. Whenever we would see each other he was always there with a hug and a genuine interest in how my daughters were long after they became Moms. Always caring and compassionate towards his patients, Carl will be missed.

I am so saddened by this. I spent so much of my nursing career working with Carl in CH ICU. He made working weekends so fun and always had my back. We had a great team. A wonderful person has been taken too soon. Many thoughts and prayers to all during this difficult time.

Carl was a wonderful neighbor and very considerate of me and our neighbor Olga. He would always make sure to clean off our cars when it snowed. He was always there for you. We are heartbroken! He is at peace now with the Angels! Condolances for the family!

Oh Carl... What a special Gentlemen and beautiful soul. I have worked with and known him for 20 years. He cared so much about others and always put their needs first and foremost. He would literally give you the shirt from his back and then buy you the pants to match. He was a quiet man but after knowing him for so long, he opened up enough to show his very funny dry humor. He would tell Great one liners and then laugh aloud after he said them. He was always early to work and I would sneak up on him and yell his name; He would jump out of his skin and we would both laugh. It would never get old! Carl, God gained an Angel this week and we lost a good man, a good friend and a good humanitarian. You will be missed more then you ever imagined! You gave all you could give and now it’s your turn to rest. I will have a Diet Pepsi for you buddy. God Bless your family and God Bless you brethren...

I worked with Carl for several years. He was one in a million and definitely chose the right profession of nursing. He was caring and compassionate and an excellent clinical nurse. He was always willing to help others. We will miss him very much. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones.
