Obituary of Alysia J. Townsend

Alysia Juanita Townsend of Willingboro, NJ was called home on Tuesday, May 29,2018. She was 32 years old.

Alysia was a 2004 graduate of Hightstown High School, East Windsor, NJ, where she was a member of the Basketball, Softball and Soccer Teams. She also played softball for Willingboro Western, Soccer for the Willingboro Spirit and Basketball of WBA.

Alysia was employed at the Cooper University Medical Center where she worked as a Health Tech.

She was a kind and caring person who had a smile that was infectious.

Alysia is survived by her parents, Alvin and Deborah Townsend of Willingboro,NJ. She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Alvin J. Townsend, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her brothers : Allan Townsend and his finacee, Melissa Walsh, Alex Townsend and his wife Lauren. Their children Valin and Sloane Townsend, who will miss their " Auntie" terribly. She will be missed by her cousins : Aimee Jason, Chris Jason, Richelle Coleman and Cleo Townsend, and her extended family : Nakia Clark, Jevon Hodges, Gina Bocchicchio, Caryn Mannheim, Ben Bowman and many good friends and co-workers.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018, 10am at the Goes – Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy, Willingboro ,NJ. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday Evening 6pm – 8pm and Thursday morning after 9am at the funeral home . Interment : Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown,NJ.
