Although I didn't know Michael, my condolences go out to his family. My son passed away July 11, 2017 from a heroin overdose - He was one day shy of his 15th month of sobriety. Although we will mourn for the rest of our days, we must acknowledge the fact that our loved ones are now free from the demons that haunted them. Take some comfort knowing that they have finally found peace for the first time since their addiction began.
